The program of this edition will focus on talent management issues in large organizations and institutions. The basic model that will be used is the "Levels of Work" model, initially developed by E. Jaques. The model allows to distinguish different levels of work complexity, reflecting the necessity to have different levels of cognitive and social emotional development on different contribution levels in the organization. The model not only provides a framework to go beyond the current dominating 'competencies approach' and makes it possible to organize the supporting talent management processes in more effective ways.

The output of the program is an individualized strategy to further build success and make the talent management strategy work in the participating companies.

The program consists of one two-day workshop and five half days focusing on a specific theme.

On Friday 26 and Saturday 27 February 2009, we cover an integrated framework that works. The workshops are organized from 9:30am - 17pm.

On Friday 13 March and Saterday 14 March 2009, we see which expert and self-diagnosis methodologies you can use for which career and talent problems. The workshop is organized from 13pm - 18pm.
On Friday 3 April 2009, you will discover how you can increase your effectiveness as an (internal and external) coach. The workshop is organized from 13pm - 18pm.

On Thursday 30 April 2009, we explain how you can set up focused and practical (bottom-up and top-down) talent development approaches in companies.  The workshop is organized from 13pm - 18 pm.

On Friday 19 May 2009, we deal with specific problems (e.g. division of roles, the good operation of talent committees, adequate assessment of talent ...). The workshop is organized from 13pm - 18 pm.

On Wednesday 26 June 2009, we integrate the varied input and provide you with a development plan to develop your own role as a professional.

The price of the program is EUR 3,000 (excl. VAT). The number of places is limited to 10. Workshop material, coffee/thee breaks, sandwich lunches/dinners, diagnostic materials are included in the price.

The workshops will take place at the offices of Connect & Transform, Koningin Astridlaan 144, 2800 Mechelen. The content of the program will be adapted to the specific needs of the participants ! Each potential participant will be invited for an intake interview so that specific expectations can be captured and the outline of the program can be adapted !

Jan De Visch, Managing Director of Connect & Transform will be the facilitator. He has a broad experience in Talent Management and Transition Facilitation strategies.
